In Social Studies, Mrs. Anderson’s fourth grade class is learning all about United States regions.
Last week, students learned about the Southeast region. Students enjoyed learning about this region because many of them have visited these states. To learn about this region, students made a small book where they read about the climate, attractions, animals, resources, and landforms that are unique to the Southeast.
“Students partner read their book and practiced using the TTQA strategy to answer
questions. It was fun to learn about a new region with friends,” Mrs. Anderson said.
