A “Seussical” special

The Cove has designed a “Seussical” Tea to promote the upcoming Intermediate School Musical, “Seussical, Kids,” and the cast was invited to try it out and spend some time together outside of the rehearsal space.

Laura Jones, owner of The Cove and mom to a “Seussical” fish, provided each cast member with a complimentary non-caffeinated “Seussical” Tea, and at dismissal on Monday, May 13 the entire cast walked from the school to the business to receive their tea.

The cast had fun playing board games, enjoying their special tea and hanging out together. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we’re grateful for the treat and hospitality provided by Mrs. Jones.

The “Seussical” Teas are on the menu ahead of the Friday, May 17 musical being held in the Coal City Performing Arts Center. Tickets are going fast and can be purchased in advance at bit.ly/CCTDTickets any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are $10 per person.

The musical is being directed by high school graduate Elaina Patten and members of the Coal City High School Drama Club with supervision by Julie Brncich.
