Students in Miss Minnick’s fourth and fifth grade class at Coal City Intermediate School have been participating in the Malcolm Mitchell Readbowl.
Students had an individual goal of reading 560 minutes in order to earn their ticket to a pizza party. Along the way they received inspirational messages from celebrities and famous football players. They even had a few mystery readers who came and read to the class.
Miss Minnick reports the students read a total of 6,516 minutes. “It was a really fun time.” she said.
