District families provided hundreds of new toys that will go to deserving children throughout the community. Among the donations were board games, dolls, trucks and cars, craft sets, stuffed animals and many more popular items kids are asking for this holiday season.
The largest collection of items came from Coal City Middle School with the Early Childhood Center, Elementary School, Intermediate School and High School also collecting their share of donations. Along with toys, the district staff also collected and donated wrapping materials.
All of the donations have been provided to Help for Hope for distribution this holiday season.
