Ms. Miller’s fifth grade class at Coal City Intermediate School completed their Pumpkin Book Projects just in time for Halloween.
Each student chose a novel that was within their interest. The students wrote a synopsis on the novel they read highlighting the main character. They then decorated a pumpkin to resemble the main character of favorite scene in the book,
“The students were very creative designing props to enhance their characters,” Ms. Miller said.
