After a year off, the staff Boomwhacker Band has started to run some open play-along
sessions. Current members of the band consist of certified staff and paraprofessionals from
all five district buildings, as well as a couple of retired staff members. Musical ability ranges from
just having a good ear to master’s degrees in performance. As the name implies,
Boomwhackers are all about hitting things while having fun.
