In 5th Grade, we just ended our Collaborative Zentangle project! For this project, we learned all about the different geometric and organic lines, shapes, and forms. We discussed how to make Zentangles, a repeated pattern or design, and we colored using only one pair of complementary colors!
In 4th Grade, we are just finishing up our Monochromatic Disco Balls! We did a quick lesson discussing color theory and analyzed what Monochromatic, one-color, and Complementary colors, colors that contrast each other, are. We also created different values using just one color pencil by using pressure!
I am so excited with how well these beginning-of-the-year projects are turning out! We are in a new room that is so much bigger for us to grow in! I can’t wait for what the 4th and 5th graders create this year!
