Students in Mrs. Cowherd’s fourth grade class were lucky to have Terri Gomien come into their classroom and to help them create a one of a kind pendant for their mom for Mother’s Day. On Tuesday afternoon, May 6, each student worked with fused glass to create a special design for their mom. Then, Terri fired them in her kiln to fuse together. She returned on Friday, May 9 to show the kids how to make a necklace using their pendant. She donated all the supplies and her time. “We are so thankful for her kindness and generosity. They all were so unique,” Mrs. Cowherd said.
