Course Description
There will be vocabulary words that also go along with the readings for the week. At the end of the week students will take a selection quiz covering the skills, strategies and vocabulary strategies, not words, from the stories.
In addition to reading skills and strategies, students will be learning language arts skills such as grammar and writing traits. There will be a skills test at the end of each unit. This test will include the skills and strategies learned in the reading portion of the block as well as newly acquired language arts skills.
