Tina Vignocchi, Librarian

Hello and welcome to my page.  I have been the librarian at CCIS for 15 years. I love helping the fourth and fifth grade students find books that fit their interest.  I encourage them to "think outside the box" and pick a genre that they don't normally read.  This amazes them that they enjoy reading other types of stories.  I enjoy being there to help them.
This week is Children's Book Week!  This years theme is, One World, Many Stories.  It runs from April 30 through May 6.  Established in 1919, it is the annual celbration of books for young people and for the joy of reading.
Buy One, Get One FREE Book Fair is coming up!  It will be open May 8-11th.  Held in the south gym at CCIS.  Shopping hours will be 8:10am-2:50pm on the 8th and 10th, 8:10am-11:00pm on the 9th and 7:30am-8:15am on the 11th.  Stock up on summer reading!  Reading for fun has a long-lasting benefit that can help students do better in school and in life.
