Meet Mr. McCleary

Hello! My name is Steven McCleary and I am the physical education teacher here at CCIS.

This will be my 17th year of teaching and they have all been here in Coal City. I currently live in Channahon with my wife and 3 boys.

I grew up and went to school here in Coal City.

I received my bachelor's degree in physical education from Eastern Illinois University in 2006.

I also received my Type 75 master's degree from Governors State University in 2011.

I am currently coaching varsity boy's and girl's soccer and teach behind the wheel in driver education.
